Q. What types of classes are taught during a Dance Fit Diva class?

A.    Devoted Fitness®, ZUMBA® & ZUMBA® toning Class formats.

Q. Where are the Dance Fit Divas Kernersville classes held?

A:  The Kernersville Parks and Recreation Center 125 E. Bodenhamer Street Kernersville, NC 27284

Q.  What should I wear to class?

A.   Be comfortable!  You will move a lot  and should work up a sweat!  Most people tend to wear workout pants/capris with a loose fitting tank or t-shirt.  The most important accessory is the shoes!  You should have good support, but not too much traction.  Well worn tennis shoes or “fitness” style sneakers work well.  Some folks prefer dance sneakers, which are also a good option.

Q.  Will I be the oldest/youngest/largest in class?

A.  NO, NO, and NO!  Our classes are a perfect blend of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels!  We have children through seniors, beginners as well as advanced participants.

Q.  How much does it cost?  Do I have to pay in advance?

10 class punch card* $35.00

OR   pay $5.00 per class

Q.  How early should I arrive for class?

A.  Our instructors are typically at the facility 20 – 30 minutes before classes start.  You are welcome to arrive early to ask questions, practice the dance steps, or just chat with other class members.  We do request you arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins to make sure you have time to pay and check in.

Q.  I’m a terrible dancer.  Will I make a fool of myself?

A.  NO WAY!  We use only a few simple dance steps per song, so you can easily pick up on them and build your confidence.  Rhythm is not a requirement either.  The only requirement is the desire to have fun!

Q.  I have a bad knee/hip/ankle/back.  Can I still participate?

A.  The great thing about our classes is that all dance steps can be modified to fit your needs.  We will show you lower impact and higher impact variations of most steps.  If something is uncomfortable for you, simply modify it to fit your needs.  **If you do have any health concerns, please seek your doctor’s advice prior to participating in any fitness activities. **
