It’s Friday y’all! Whoo hoo! Every Friday, Lisa Jo Baker hosts a blog link up called Five Minute Fridays (FMF). She provides a word prompt and then participants are to set their timers for five minutes and write until the timer goes off. If you have NEVER read our FMF posts, I urge you to read past posts. Today’s word is small.
I often feel small when I think about all of the things that need to be done. Feeling small when you have a long to-do list gives you the feeling of being overwhelmed and incapable of accomplishing anything.
Feeling small in your clothes makes you feel invincible!
When I was a little girl, I often felt like I could do anything! I had plans to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, dancer, and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader all at the same time.
Somewhere along the way, the small girl who felt big became a woman who often feels so very small.
Do you ever feel small?
During class last night, someone captured an image of one of my smallest class participants. Although she is small, she hangs right in there with the best of them.
Not only can she hang with the big girls, she even challenged her teacher (me), last night!
As life gets bigger and more complicated, it is easy to lose sight of the small but courageous girl who lives inside of each of us.
What does the small girl in your heart dream of doing?
Where do you need to challenge the status quo?
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
