The photo above is Ms. Maggie Wessel, posing literally in ONE LEG of the jeans that she used to wear. Our entire class is soooo proud of Maggie and all of her success with her weight loss and life style changes.
Although Maggie has literally lost and entire person, 160 pounds to be exact, I am most inspired by her determination and persistence. Just after taking this picture last week, she shared how sometimes she feels down about not being at her goal weight (Yes even with all of her success). Yet she keeps on keepin’ on!
Success, my dear Divas, IS Fabulous it just isn’t forever. Right after success, we find ourselves going down into the slippery slope of despair. Just when we think the despair will overtake us, we see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is often said that we are either in a valley, coming out of a valley or on our way into a valley.
The ebb and flow, peak and valley-ness of life seems unchangeable. What is a Diva to do?
In the words of Walt Disney: Keep Moving Forward.
Which to me means: Don’t get so comfortable when things are going well that you stop striving and don’t completely fold when you fail!
Just like our Maggie, keep moving forward.
Keep waking up and doing your best to be the best YOU.
Don’t give up.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
